I started training for the
Seattle Rock 'n Roll half marathon on June 27th. This being the longest race I've ran thus far in my life I am not only looking forward to it but nervous for it, too. So I have a little less than 14 weeks to train so I'll be ready, my hip flexors strong and my endurance high so I can finish the race strong.
What is cool about this race is there is a band at every mile! Talk about motivation! It starts in Tukwila, runs along the shore of Lake Washington and ends at Safeco Field. No one is running this with me, so if you're game, holla. It's gonna be fun!
