Hi! Sorry for the lack of posting the past couple days. I've been feeling as if I have no time to do ANYTHING. I wake up, workout, work, workout some more, eat dinner, then its pretty much time to get things together for the next day and go to bed. How do the days go by so fast? I can't seem to keep up right now.
The past two days I've been in negotiation training for work and it was a GREAT learning experience. I'm really glad my work offered it - I feel as if I could negotiate ANYTHING now. : )
I have been keeping up with workouts. I've gone to the gym every morning this week and after too. Tuesday was particularly tiring because I ran in the morning, went to spin after work, then went for a swim. A backwards triathlon throughout the day! My legs really felt it in the pool though.
I kept my AM workout this morning to a minimal and got in a little over 400 meters in the pool tonight. Swimming is getting a lot easier. I'm taking less breaks and got the breathing part under some control...still needs some work though.
My lenten goal is still underway. I've only ran 6 miles so far this week though... That means I need at least 9 more to get to 15 miles. I plan on doing 4 tomorrow morning, 3 Friday and hopefully 5 on Saturday. That'll bump me up to 18!
Even though my workouts have been amazing the past couple days, I have let my diet go out of control. I'm eating way too much and too much crap. I start off the day good , then lunch is usually on the healthier side then after work I loose it! I snack like crazy! Why is this? I have a big problem of eating because I'm bored and I need to learn to stop. This is something I really want to work on, any suggestions?
