What did I accomplish in January?
January flew by so quickly, I'm trying to think of things that I accomplished and not many are coming to mind. With this being the case, I feel like I need to set monthly goals to acheive so there is a sense of accomplishment at the end of each month. Here are the things I did accomplish in the 1st month of the year:
- Started swimming. Yes, I've only been swimming twice, but I started, right?
- Started AM workouts. I've consistently worked out before work everyday for a week and a half and plan on keeping that up.
- Consumed way less sugar that usual. I only baked once all month!
Humm...what should my February goal be? I think it will be swim 3 days per week. I have my run and bike schedule down, just need to squeeze in 3 swim workouts each week. Very doable!
By the way, there are thoughts mingling in my head about doing a sprint tri in April. I think it would be a good 1st tri because the swim is only 250 meters and the bike and run course are very, very flat. It is in Elma, Wa. I'll keep you posted on my decision.
