ahhh, Friday!!!

Although I'm about to go to a work-related function on a Friday afternoon, I'm totally okay with it because I won't be sitting in my cube! Plus this event is serving beer and wine! My kind of event!

Yesterday I took the day off from working out except for a 2 mile run to wake me up. I usually go for a medium length bike ride on Thursday, but I had plans! Amazing, I never have plans!

My brother-in-law was in town for a couple days, so I drove down to my sister's house to have a yummy dinner and catch up with the fam. I have come to not mind the hour drive down to my sister's house as much as I used to. I always feel like I can really relax around my family, enjoy the company, and kind of forget anything else that is going on in my life. So the pro's definitely outweight the cons of the hour drive.

Here is what's on the list for this weekend:
  • Bike ride with tri group - Saturday
  • Hair cut!
  • 85 mile bike ride - Sunday
  • Run a 5K - Saturday
  • Blog about April/May goals and recap
  • Research laptops
I'm really nervous for my 85 mile bike ride. I'm doing it solo and I know I'm going to get bored. Do you get nervous for solo adventures? I think I'm most nervous that I won't be able to motivate myself to keep going. I like the mantra, "JUST KEEP MOVING!" Any good ones you use when you need a little push?
