Good morning! It was nice sleeping in even though I still woke up at 7:00. I had hoped to go on a run when I woke up, but the weather is craptastic, so I'm going to wait it out and see if it improves. The rainy, gray whether isn't very motivating to get on my bike either, boo. Great Memorial Day Weekend weather!
Yesterday after work I went to the Y and ran and lifted. I had a tummy ache though from this HUGE truffle I ate at work around 1pm. This thing was seriously monsterous! It was SO good, but I should have known that it would give me a stomach ache. I can't turn down sweets like that though.
I want to start keeping a closer eye on my diet as my races approach, so here's the plan. As of June 1st (Tuesday), I will refrain from eating sweets and limit my alcohol consumption to 1 serving per week. Originally, I was going to cut out alcohol all together, but who am I kidding? I think by watching my sweets and alcohol intake along with healthy eats and lots of water, I'll feel great come June 26th.
I'm off to watch the rain fall and figure out what I'm going to do with myself today. See you later!
