Howdy! How was your hump day? Mine was alright except for the hours of 6:30am and 3:30pm. I bet you can guess what I was doing. :)
After work I made a quick trip to Costco and got some yummy staples: BLUEBERRIES, strawberries, broc, veggie burgers, salsa, spinach, tortillas and mini bell peppers! Pretty much food awesomeness, especially the mini bell peppers, have you had those?! Amazing!
I then I did a triatlon! Well, a really short one. I did the full swim (400 meters), 6.3 mile bike and a 2 mile run. Whew! I had yet to put all the pieces together on the actual course until today.
It wasn't easy, but it definitely wasn't horrible. There is a gradual climb first thing on the bike, which I thought was the worst part. My favorite part? Swimming in the lake! It's so refreshing and there aren't stupid pool walls to run into!
I want to do that at least 3 more time before the race. I have 2 weeks and 2 days! So close!
