SO thankful it is FRIDAY! It has been a fairly okay day - got to watch a little of the US world cup game at work, went on a coffee date with the ladies at work, checked off some stuff on my to-do list and had a delicious lunch.
I am back on a saladless salad kick. Basically, salad toppings minus any leafy greens. Today, it consisted of:
- chopped up veggie burger
- corn
- black beans
- avocado
- shreaded carrots
- grape tomatoes
- slightly steamed broccoli
- cucumber
I LOVE them! I also drizzle a little sesame salad dressing on it for a tad more flava, but not all the time.
I wasn't planning on doing much today in terms of working out, maybe a run, but thanks to Kyle motivating me, I'm swimming at the lake after work. I may bring my shoes and run around the lake too, but we'll see. My calf is feeling on the verge of being strained and God knows I can't have that happen a week before the race! Need to take it a tad easy and work at it with The Stick tonight.
