Daily Sweat: 45 min. spin class, ab work, 1,100 yard swim
Thanks for all your funny comments about my pumpkin pie incident. It isn’t just the pie these days; all sweets are haunting me. The mini Halloween candies are so cute and tasty and they’re just a bite, right? NO. All those bites add up to a stomach ache and spoiled workouts. No more candy bowl!
To work off the candy and pie, I went to spin class tonight! I haven’t been to spin class in a real long time because I’ve been cycling outside, but the weather here in the PNW is 50 degrees, windy and rainy, so inside it is!
Yep, class was hard and I’m out of bicycling shape. Sweated like a pig and loved it in every way. I needed that swift kick in the butt to realize how out of shape I’m in to motivate me to get BACK into shape.
I had some time to kill until the pool opened, so I did some ab work. Gotta work on that 6 pack, right?
I hopped in the pool for 1,100 yards of arm burning fun. My arms are a little sore from my weight lifting yesterday and they sure loved the fact I was making them do stroke after stroke. But if you’ve read my blog for a bit, you know that I like the pain. It hurts so good.
A few things I’ve been meaning to mention:
