Holy cow, it's Thursday?! I almost forgot, but was reminded when I saw Diana's 3 Things Thursday post.
1. After all the debate on whether or not to join a gym, I joined one today. I know, I know, I'm a sucker. It was either paying to go to the pool or paying to go to a gym with a pool. After some price comparisons, the gym was the better choice. Plus this gym has lap swim ALL hours except like two evenings for 45 minutes. I can pretty much swim on my schedule, not the pool's, which is what sold me.
I went to the gym tonight to sign up and was there at prime time (after work) so it was pretty full, but this isn't the time I'm planning on going, so I wasn't too worried about it. Basically, I'll use the gym for the pool and if it's totally crap-tastic out, then I'll run or cycle inside.
2. I'm really, really thinking of doing the Onion Man Olympic triathlon in late May. I would need to start training the week of February 6th which is great, because I need some structure in my schedule and this would . Anyone want to go to Washington Wine Country with me, do a triathlon and then drink wine? Diana? It's over Memorial Day Weekend!
3. I went shopping last night on a mission to find more "girley" clothes. I tend to either wear workout clothes or jeans, a tshirt and my vans slip ons. I want to dress a little girlier at work, hence my mission. Well, as hard as I searched, I still ended up in the activewear section at Nordstrom (I had giftcards). I ended up buying two long sleeved Zella shirts. They are cute casual shirts with a little flare, but never something I'd workout in. I guess I'm stuck in my casual clothes for now. :)
